Welcome to Western Norway

Since 1993 Hosteling International Norway has been engaged in providing reasonably priced accommodation and travel opportunities for everyone wanting to experience the fjords and mountains of Western Norway. Our business began in 1971, when in partnership with Northumberland County Council, we began the Voss Ski Venture - a programme which has enabled more than 40,000 pupils and teachers to visit Voss. The venture is now operated by travel agents Dawson and Sanderson Ltd. and still attracts schools from the North of England and throughout Scotland.

In addition to this tailor made ski programme, our hostels host groups from all over the world when they come to see the easily accessible glaciers of Western Norway and to experience our unique culture. They are not our only attraction, however, as we would be happy to show you.
